History
2017-2018
Founding & Start Up
Strong & Starlike was founded in December 2017 by Tisidra Jones in Saint Paul, MN. Within its first year the company expanded its work to include a team of contractors and partners across Minnesota and across multiple sectors. This allowed the company to provide cross-sector, holistic solutions to its clients.
2019-2021
Reach & Recognition
During this time Strong & Starlike expanded its reach outside of Minnesota to working with entities and the people they serve across the country. During this time Strong & Starlike built new partnerships with associations and organizations to deliver more programming related to access and equal economic opportunity. Local and national recognition for team members occurred during this time.
2022-Present
Expansion & Expertise
Strong & Starlike expanded its presence and locations to a Minnesota base and a Maryland base. Hiring staff in both locations and taking on larger projects. During this time the research for the book, A Guide to Business Inclusion Programs in Government Contracting: U.S. Federal, State, and Local Programs and Laws, was conducted and the book as published.
