Why do you do this work?
I am interested in preserving the economic interests for socially disadvantaged populations through policy. This internship gives me the opportunity to do that for constituents of Minnesota.

My Story
Olabisi is a public policy major at the University of Maryland, College Park with a concentration in racial and gender justice. She has experience in the policy and legislative spheres in local, state, and federal governments. Olabisi is passionate about advancing initiatives and policies that benefit underserved communities.
​
​I am someone who is committed to representing and advocating for the Black community through the political and/or legislative process. In the future I hope to continue doing more advocacy and policy work that will help future generations.
