Join us for light appetizers, wine, a panel discussion, and more at our Maryland Open House on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 5:30 - 7:30 PM EST, at Overdue Recognition Art Gallery in Bowie Town Center. The panel discussion: Your Book is Your Business: How to Create, Launch, and Market Your Book to A Core Audience, will offer practical tools and tips from our panel of published authors, library professionals, business owners, and lawyers. Books written by the authors on the panel will also be available at the event.

 

Who Should Attend

Artists, business owners, and professionals who:

  • Are curious about navigating local, state, and federal government contracting processes as a small business;
  • Have been thinking about writing their first book and curious about how to approach the writing process;
  • May have written a book, but did not do much to get it out there;
