Why do you do this work?
I care about connecting people to knowledge, resources, and other people. I want to help build a society where more people have access to the tools they need to flourish.
My Story
I started my career working for the City of Saint Paul, striving to increase the participation of small, women-owned, and minority-owned businesses on City projects. In my role, I reestablished and cultivated partnerships with integral community partners, helped resolve project and payment tracking system misuse, trained individuals and companies in contract compliance systems, and more.

Following my time at the City of Saint Paul, I went on to work in education, communications, and contract compliance. I continue to commit myself to connecting people to vital services and resources and to one another.
I have experience creating social media and digital strategy and content, providing digital communications consultation, monitoring and enforcing contract compliance, and working with community partners to improve hiring and career supports.

Re-established and cultivated dormant partnership with integral community partner that consisted of hundreds of member organizations with a lens towards expanding SWMBE business inclusion opportunities.

Worked with general contractor to resolve misuse of project and payment tracking system and retrieved months of vital, missing information on multi-million-dollar project.

Performed SMWBE compliance monitoring for all City of Saint Paul construction contracts, including numerous, high-profile, multi-million-dollar projects.

Served as a back-up to present on compliance for AA/EEO workforce inclusion, Section 3, and labor standards compliance during pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.
